Max Armstrong talks about Hogs and Pigs report, due out tomorrow. (audio)

A growing number of states are considering expanding their Medicaid programs after collapse of Republican health care legislation. 

We'll get a new reading tomorrow on what's happening on nation's hog farms when nation releases Hogs and Pigs Report. There is record large production and strong demand. Demand in storage no more than year ago. Lower trending dollar will help demand. High beef prices will also help demand. 3% more pigs is not bearish number. Slaughter capacity is expanding 8% with new plants under production.

The fire department in the small town of Mediapolis, Iowa, has welcomed six new babies since August. Births of babies that close together just happened that way. Firefighter Tom said the joke around the station is we apparently didn't have enough fire calls.
