NEW BRIGHTON, MIN. — April 16, 2014 — Pentair Ltd. (NYSE: PNR) announced today the launch of the Briggs & Stratton 1540 Series transfer pumps, lightweight and versatile pumps ideal for tank filling and water transfer.
The Briggs & Stratton 1540 Series transfer pumps are available with Polypropylene or Aluminum housings. Polypropylene models are manufactured with 2” female NPT ports, and are suitable for corrosive environments and chemical solutions. Aluminum versions, suitable for applications such as flood water removal, lawn and garden watering and pond filling, are built with 2” male NPT ports.

Briggs & Stratton 1540 series transfer pumps have self-priming capabilities with maximum suction lift up to: 25 feet/7.62 meters (1542P) and 23 feet/7.01 meters (1542A), and are supported with a one-year warranty on both pump (Hypro) and engine (Briggs & Stratton).
