There’s been some moisture in Brazil, which has stalled the soybean harvest for Global Ag, but what’s been harvested so far has been good and exceeding expectations. Tyler also shows us a “mutant” soybean plant, planted in-row with the others. He and his team are trying to figure out what’s causing these thick-stemmed plants that are loaded with pods from top to bottom. He’s all ears if you know what’s causing these giant soybean plants that put out such a huge number of pods.

Here’s a close-up of beans being harvested and Tyler is impressed. The field is yielding well, and above expectations. Beans in Bahia appear to be doing well this season, while those in Mato Grosso are down a bit.
