Soil temperatures on the rise: April 9-13

The USDA outlook shows less than 10% of corn and soybean production in areas experiencing drought this spring.

Most farmers are beginning to get the spring itch.. With two percent planted, there is a lot of work to do. However, in many Midwest locations, piles of snow begin. However, the latest soil temperature figures from across the Midwest show a warm up on the way.
