Bayer CropScience is pleased to announce an important change for your grower customers in time for the 2010 season. The company is reducing its price for Ignite® herbicide by approximately 20 percent.
During the past year, growers have seen great results from Ignite across all LibertyLink® crops — corn, soybeans, cotton and canola. Additionally your customers have seen the advantage of using Ignite with its visible weed control in days vs. weeks.
This price adjustment is a strategic decision to drive the use of Ignite herbicide and enhance the adoption of the LibertyLink trait in new varieties of LibertyLink soybeans and FiberMax® cotton, as well as Herculex®, SmartStax™ and Agrisure® hybrids with corn borer protection and InVigor® canola hybrids.
The use of Ignite and LibertyLink in an Integrated Weed Management program is a great means for growers to preserve the utility of glyphosate herbicide and the glyphosate-tolerant trait as viable crop production tools. Plus, Bayer CropScience has invested more than $150 million in expansion of manufacturing capacity of Ignite to accommodate the expected demand increase.
Now your customers can treat more acres with Ignite at a greater value than ever before.
Growers will begin to receive notification through multiple touch points. We have encouraged them to contact you for more information.
We hope you share Bayer's commitment to this technology and ask for your continued support.
